This year’s blend brings together a honey-process Nicaragua and a washed-process Burundi, creating a rich, warming cup with notes of sweet toffee apple, cinnamon and vanilla fudge. Five years in, Polar Espresso has become a firm favourite across our coffee houses for the festive season. This year’s blend brings together two coffees from opposite sides of the world, each bringing something different to the cup. From the hills of northern Burundi comes Turaco, a washed Red Bourbon grown by smallholder farmers at up to 1,900 metres. It meets Las Morenitas from Nicaragua, a blend of honey-process Catuai, Caturra and Marasellesa varieties, for a natural sweetness. Together, they create a rich, warming cup with notes of sweet toffee apple, cinnamon and vanilla fudge, alongside hints of brown sugar and stone fruit. Best enjoyed slowly, whether that’s with loved ones, by the fire or as part of a cosy morning ritual.

This year’s blend brings together two coffees from opposite sides of the world.
